Imagine yourself in the heart of New York City, surrounded by thousands of the brightest and most passionate college and university students from well over 120 countries. Together, you’ve gathered to discuss the most pressing global issues of our time, from climate change to human rights to global security.

A place where you can step into the shoes of a diplomat and use the art of negotiation to learn how to make a difference in the world. The Security Council, the General Assembly, the Economic and Social Council, UNICEF, and the Human Rights Council, are just some of the working groups within which the students will try to negotiate the best solutions to solve the world’s problems. Research materials including background guides, MUN Estonia delegate preparation guide, and position paper guidelines will be made available.

Closer to the conference you will be provided the exact schedule, program, speakers, and your position papers will be submitted.

Each day of the GCMUN conference includes a 1.5 hour lunch break and 30 minute evening break.

The UNHQ visit and meeting with Mr. Rein Tammsaar depend on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ approval and availability. If unavailable, another activity will be scheduled. Delegates will still visit the UNHQ during the conference.

A schedule with further details will be provided upon registration.

Note: Each delegate will be ordering for themselves during the group dinners.
